Vision Quest Focus Group
In the 2008 Plan of Impact as designed by President O'Neil, a special group has been planned to give younger members of the organization an avenue for their voices to be heard. This group, called the Vision Quest Focus Group will tackle the issues that are facing the long-term stability of The U. S. Junior Chamber.
On of the key factors that will determine the viability of the group will be
that its participants will be made up of Jaycee members ages 18-29. This will help the organization better
understand the needs of this age group and find solutions to address issues
that they feel are important to attracting others in their same demographic
group.
Through brainstorming techniques, this group will provide valuable input that
will greatly impact the future of the organization. Volunteers and the National Service Center staff will compile all
of the group's input. Then the Executive Committee and State Presidents will
have an opportunity to look over the data and discuss ways to implement the
most viable ideas.
If you are between the ages of 18-29 and have a genuine desire to impact the
future of The United States Jaycees, please consider being part of this focus
group.
If you would like to
volunteer to lend your support and input, contact National President, Denice
O'Neil deniceponeil@aol.com .
