Region 5 Webmaster
Ken Risley
I have served as Region 5 Webmaster now in my fourth year. I am also serving presently as the Missouri JCI Senate Newsletter Editor and Communications Chairman. I am a past Region 5 Director, a District Director, President, Secretary, Vice President and Charter Member of the St. Ann Jaycees. I was also at one time a member of the West St. Louis County Jaycees, the Maryland Heights Jaycees, the Chesterfield Jaycees and a few others at one time or another. I am JCI Senator #32905 and a Life Member of the Missouri JCI Senate. I am also a member of the Crew of the SS Fellowship. As time permits, I still participate in projects of the West St. Louis County Jaycees and the Missouri JCI Senate.
I was very fortunate to have worked for John Armbruster at Community Federal Savings and Loans Assn. and was actually recruited through him by John Wittenberg as a Charter Member of the St. Ann Jaycees a long time ago. Later, I was able to serve as the traveling companion of Mr. Armbruster to a number of national and local Jaycee Events. Through these travels, I had the good fortune to meet Andy and Charlotte Mugenast and other early members of the Junior Chamber.
I have been honored to have been married to Dianne for many years and have 3 sons, Jeff, Scott and Chris who have all been West St. Louis County Jaycees, Jeff having served as president recently for 2 years.
I have been blessed with a long career in computers, having served in many roles from Data Processing Manager to Computer Operator including Team Leader, Project Manager, Systems Programmer, Business Analyst, Procedure Writer and others.
My education was at Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems and Data Processing and Post-Grad work in the area of Finance. I had also achieved 3 2-year degrees from Washington University and the St. Louis Junior College and earned 2 professional certifications and other honors.
